Macy

Just wanted you to know that Macy has been a wonderful addition to our family and adds hours of entertainment. She had her first vacation in the Adirondack Mountains, NY and LOVED the lake, boat, sandy beach, and chasing ducks! She met a "boyfriend," 1 yr old chocolate brown labradoodle, and they had a blast playing on the beach and in the lake....we laughed each day as we watched them play together. She just LOVES the water. We even have a picture of her swimming with a "noodle," because at first she couldn't keep her bottom from sinking in the water.

_We have had dogs for over twenty-five years.  When we decided to work on what breed we wanted after our last dog passed over a year ago, we researched goldendoodles and settled on this breed because:   very little shedding; wonderful personalities – friendly, lovable, laid back; intelligent and obedient; great looking dogs.

We then went to work on finding a breeder.  We contacted a few breeders found on the internet and in the newspaper and came upon the Briar Ridge Puppies website.  We were very impressed by the vision, goals and information Patti conveys through her website.  We emailed Patti with questions and received great information.  At that time, Patti indicated she had a litter that was 6 weeks old and invited us to visit her facilities and the puppies.  We were pleased with everything we saw.  At that time we decided to be put on a waiting list for two puppies.

Our puppies were born Summer 2011 and they are a little over three months old.  Right away we knew (and continually realize) that Briar Ridge Puppies is everything they claim to be, and much more.  Our puppies definitely exceeded our expectations:

-        Well socialized – great with people, calm during grooming, ride well in car, comfortable in different surroundings.

-        Almost housebroken.  Did not take long to achieve once home.

-        Knew some basic commands, and are learning each day.  Very eager to learn.

-        Overall health was excellent.

-        Well groomed and clean when we picked them up.

-        Patti did a great job matching the personalities of the two puppies to each other and to us.  Great fit for our personalities and lifestyle and they are best buds!

We could go on and on, but bottom line is we are very, very happy with our puppies – Toby and Turk. Again, greatly exceeded our expectations.  Patti and Andy are great breeders and wonderful people.  When we are approached by people when out with the puppies (which we are all the time), we have no hesitation in recommending Briar Ridge Puppies.  Thank you Patti and Andy!

Sandy

Picture
Hi Patti!

We wanted to let you know that we are enjoying every minute of Sandy.  She has been the BEST puppy!  We had a big dilemma when we 'considered' getting a puppy for our kids because we have an 11 year old boy that LOVES dogs and a 9 year old girl that was TERRIFIED of dogs.
We did a ton of research on breeds and interviewed (believe it or not) several breeders because our son has some special needs and we wanted to be sure that we were getting an intelligent breed from a reputable breeder so that we felt comfortable bringing it into our home and training.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer all of our lengthy questions. We found the puppy picking process to be fair and we appreciated all of the pictures and information that you gave to us about the personality of the puppy that we were considering. We couldn't be happier!
Our vet was very impressed also with Sandy because of how calm she was on the table. I asked our vet if it was the breed, the breeder or both that gave us such a great puppy and she said based on what she had seen "it was both"!
You and Andy definitely worked a lot with the puppies to socialize them etc and it shows! Sandy is a great puppy, well socialized and has been so easy to train. As a matter of fact she is now at 12 weeks ringing the bell to go outside! YEAH! Enjoy the pictures and pay particular attention to the BIG smile on the face of my daughter, the one that was TERRIFIED of puppies. She LOVES her Sandy!!!!! And, Ross is
over the top for her as well. Thank you and Andy again for providing us with such a great addition to our family!  We LOVE Briar Ridge Puppies!

Jenson

Picture
Dear Patti and Andy,

I can't sing your praises enough.  Our little Jenson (well not so little now as he is close to 40 lbs.) is such a wonderful ambassador for Briar Ridge Puppies.  Not only have I given out every business card you gave me but my next door neighbor is now part of the Briar Ridge Puppies family.  If that doesn't tell you how perfect your puppies are I don't know what does!

Everywhere we go people are quite impressed with our puppy.  They love not only his look but his calm demeanor - he just wins people over.  Only downfall to this was trying to do training classes - people would actually stop me in the middle of class to ask about him.  Still he graduated from Intermediate Education class at 4 months old.  I believe the bio-sensory training and work you do with the puppies REALLY makes a difference.  Your support, knowledge, love and care shine through in every Briar Ridge Puppy.  I look forward to being a repeat customer some day soon.  Thank you both again for all the love and hard work.

Bodhi

Picture
I had never had a my own pet before so I did over 6 months of research before choosing a breed and breeder. Well all of my research paid off, when my family brought home Bodhi from Briar Ridge Puppies.
Patti and Andy are so extremely knowledgable and helpful when it comes to golden doodles. I know that if we ever have a problem or question Patti and Andy are right their for us.
Where ever we go, people are asking us about our baby boy, our Vet even took Patti and Andy's information for their clients and we live over 3 1/2 hours away because he is so impressed with the puppies from Briar Ridge Puppies.
We cannot imagine our lives and home with out Bodhi, he is truly a part of our family! And not only Bodhi, Bodhi's litter mates and their families have become fixtures in our lives as well!
I cannot say enough of how happy we are that we chose Briar Ridge Puppies, in fact in the next year or two we will be visiting Briar Ridge Puppies to get Bodhi a little brother or sister.

Oaklee

Picture
Oaklee is our F1b English Cream Goldendoodle.  We live only a few miles from Briar Ridge puppies and were thrilled to find them.  I had been searching for a goldendoodle puppy for some time and hadn’t realized they were so close and had puppies available.

We just love Oaklee!!  He is such a good puppy, and both our veterinarian and trainer from the puppy class we’ve taken him to, have commented on how laid back he is.  He is very friendly with people of any age and other dogs, too!  When we brought Oaklee home at 8 weeks it was clear that he had been well taken care of; he already knew some basic commands.
The first day when we put him in his crate I told him to lay down... and he DID!  I was shocked because even though I said “lay down” I didn’t expect him to do it.  We are very thankful to Patti and Andy for the love, care, and time that they put in to giving the puppies the best start in life.  We had an opportunity to see there Mamas and Papas too and they were all very friendly.

Whether you’re near or far we would recommend Briar Ridge!!”
